Keith presented a fairly detailed exposition on the process of entering home brewing competitions. A great way to get our club name out in the homebrewing universe is to compete in AHA sanctioned competitions. Members please remember that the club will ship your beer to the competitions if you a) note your association with FLOPS and b) bring your beer to the Home Brewery in a timely fashion. Please contact Keith or refer to www.flopsclub.com if you are interested in more information.

Jason is looking for a small focused group of individuals willing to put in the time to bring this project to fruition. The motion was passed and a committee was formed. Jason Wright, Keith Linn, Ash Goodwin, Jason Wright volunteer.
Club Social – The next club social will be held on July 25th, around 4 p.m. at the Long Promised Party to be held at Cathy and Jack McAuliffe’s places out in Lincoln, AR. It is rumored that Pliny the Elder may be making an appearance along with a recently resurrected Albion Brewing traditional know as Toe Sucker, a barley wine which was brewed annually for their summer solstice party, thanks to the efforts of James Spencer and Andy Sparks. Feel free to bring your own offerings as well. Pig will be roasted, beer will be toasted. There is a pig prep party for those who are interested in helping with the preparations stop by Friday afternoon in Lincoln as you will have a better shot at partaking in the Russian River items.
