We need to start hosting brew-ins again.  If you are willing please let an officer know.

Brew Master – Tim Keltner

The loaner equipment list is located under the Learn To Brew link on the home page of flopsclub.com.  If you have equipment to donate you can drop it off at the Home Brewery where the club stores its collection. We are looking for gaps in our inventory of equipment.  If you notice one please let a club officer know. Please be kind and return promptly so others can utilize it.

Ambassador at Large – Keith Besonen

Keith travelled to Germany and Italy.  Visited a brewpub in Siena called Birreria La Diana which had a great selection.  He also brought us a sample from a fine Italian Brewery outside of Rome. Thank you Keith.

We need club tee shirts. Someone will start to move this long standing project forward.  Present proposals at next meeting.

Club Social. Bike Rack Brewing hosted December’s Club Social.  The club was given a tour of the facilities by the head brewer.  Five offerings were available

Bike Rack Brewing – Open in Bentonville.  Please report back what you experience there.

Core Brewing –

Fossil Cove – Assistant brewer Kort Castleberry brought a growler of the new Belgian Quad. A Baltic Porter will also be released soon.  Saturday is the Mug Club renewal raffle and silent auction so if you are interested please show up at 7 p.m.

Bentonville Brewing – Equipment appears to be going in according to Facebook posts.

Columbus House – Still on hold.  Equipment in place.  No permits as of yet.

Foster’s Pints and Pies – Opening soon.  Restaurant, bottle shop and brewery.

New Business

We will be revising our Iron Brewer competition due to a noticeable decline in participation.  We will probably only have competitions quarterly.  Keith Lynn will head up a committee

Club Social – January’s social will be held at the Springdale location of Core Brewing on January 24th at 1 p.m.

St. Patrick’s Day on the Hill stout state championship homebrew competition to be held March 14th is looking for entries.  Please visit http://www.stpatricksonthehill.com for more information.
