ATTENTION HOMEBREWERS!!!
St. Raphael’s Church in Springdale will be hosting the first annual “Brewtober” Chili and Homebrew festival AND THEY NEED FLOPS HELP!
The event will be held on Saturday, October 18th from 5:30- 10:00 PM, and will showcase homebrew and local craft beers. It is a chance for the general public to taste some outstanding brews made by local brewers, and it will definitely enhance the awareness of FLOPS, and spark interest in those thinking about home brewing themselves.
There will be live music, big screen television for football, and unlimited beer and chili. All of this for only $25!
And here is where the local homebrew community can help– ANYONE DONATING AT LEAST 2 CASES OF BEER OR AT LEAST 4 GALLONS OF BEER, WILL GET A FREE TICKET FOR THE EVENT. THAT’S UNLIMITED TASTING OF BEER AND CHILI FOR YOUR HOMEBREW DONATION!
St. Raphael’s will provide tents, tables, and chairs. Patrons will also receive a 5 ounce beer mug for tastings – just like Foam-Fest.
HOMEBREWERS NEED TO:
- SIGN UP HERE– space is limited! (Multiple entries allowed)
- BRING BEER – KEG OR BOTTLES
- BRING TUB WITH ICE TO KEEP BEER COOLED
- BRING LARGE PITCHER TO DISPENSE BEER INTO (one for each type of beer you bring)
- ENJOY! Great Music, Great Beer, and Great CHILI!
There will also be a “Peoples Choice Award” given, with the winner receiving the highly coveted Brewtober “Green Jacket” Wearing this will make you be the envy at any social gathering- especially FLOPS meetings!
