Springdale’s own Saddelbock Brewery hosted a recipe competition on February 2nd (Groundhogs Day) to determine the breweries recipe for their new IPA offering. Proceeds from the contest’s $3.00 entry fee were donated to the Single Parent Scholarship fund. DIY Stir Plate
In January’s meeting we learned just how easy it is to build a stir plate out of spare computer parts. This is a great tool to aid in achieving proper yeast pitching rates when you’re making a beer >1.060 OG.
