Ambassador at Large – Keith Besonen
Keith travelled to Minnesota last week and brought us some can samples of the Day Tripper from Indeed Brewing Co. He also brought some Dale’s Pale Ale from Oskar Blues in CO. noting that it will soon be available in Missouri. Keith also relayed the news that the Bosco’s brewpub chain has closed all of its locations. A toast to the memory of Bosco’s ensued. He also visited Vino’s and Stone’s Throw in Little Rock. Vino’s had at least 6 of their own beers on tap and their IPA was definitely a standout. Stone’s Throw had 8 beers on tap and their Keyser was, in his opinion, the best of the bunch. Give them a try if you find yourself in Little Rock.

Old Business
Club Social report – Several members traveled north to Ozark Beer Co. Andy Coates was a gracious host, as always, giving us a tour of his new tank layout. Stout is aging in several oak barrels for the new year and the Belgian will soon be available in cans. The beer was awesome. Thank you Andy. We will be back.
Those that were able to hang out with the pros at the Arkansas Brewers Guild tap takeover at Fossil Cove on November 13th were able to sample beers from across the state. Apple Blossom, Core, Diamond Bear, Fossil Cove, Ozark, Saddlebock, Stone’s Throw and West Mountain were represented.
Sierra Nevada’s Beer Camp tap takeover was held the same evening at Sideways in Fayetteville with a selection of 6 out of the 12 beers originally released. It was a great chance for those who missed the initial release to catch half of the series.
